Information for Meadowbank Stadium ticket holders
Posted: 8th February 2018
If Meadowbank Stadium is opening in March, when will the first game between Dorking Wanderers and Leatherhead now be played?
The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday 27th March 2018. As before, it will kick off at 7:45pm with gates opening at 5pm.
Will it still be your opening game at the new stadium?
Yes. The idea of the Mole Valley derby as the first game at our new home ground has really captured the imagination of the local community and the wider public and will be a complete sell-out. Although Mole Valley District Council say the Meadowbank complex is now expected to be open at some point earlier in March, we have taken the decision to wait until the end of the month to guarantee the stadium has been fully tested and is running smoothly in time to host a capacity crowd on a very big night for the town.
What happens with the tickets I've already bought to see the Mole Valley derby between Dorking and Leatherhead in February?
All tickets already bought for the game will automatically remain valid for the fixture on its new date of Tuesday 27th March. Ticket holders need do nothing more to attend the game on that date. Simply present your existing emailed tickets at the turnstile on the night.
I’ve bought tickets for the game against Billericay Town that was due to be played at Meadowbank on 15th March. What’s happening to that game and my tickets?
That game will now switch back to our existing home ground at Westhumble. Any tickets already bought for the game remain valid at Westhumble.
Are the Leatherhead and Billericay fixtures both still all-ticket games?
The game with Leatherhead is our first fixture at the new stadium and will attract a capacity crowd. So it remains all-ticket. Limited remaining tickets are on sale now and must be bought in advance via www.dorkingwanderders.com.
The game with Billericay Town will now take place at Westhumble and is no longer all-ticket. Existing tickets remain valid but spectators will also be able to pay at the turnstile on the night.
I've bought tickets for the Dorking v Leatherhead game but can't make it on 27th March. What should I do?
Anyone who has already bought tickets for the first game at Meadowbank but is unable to make the new date may apply for a refund. We are emailing all ticket holders via the email address given at the time of booking with this information. Simply reply to that email requesting a refund for either some or all of the tickets in your order. Alternatively, you may send an email requesting a refund now to firstname.lastname@example.org. Refunds will be processed within 7 days and your tickets cancelled. The deadline to apply for a refund is 27th February.
I've got a Dorking Wanderers season ticket or sponsor’s pass. Does any of this affect me?
No. All Dorking Wanderers season tickets and sponsor’s passes are automatically valid for all our games at Westhumble and Meadowbank this season. There’s no need to buy any more tickets.
I haven't bought any tickets for the first game at the new stadium yet. Are they still available?
Yes, but demand has been very high and the game is heading for a sell-out. To buy the limited remaining tickets, just go to www.dorkingwanderers.com where you’ll find a prominent link to the booking site.
