Lewis Putnam joins Dorking Wanderers

Posted: 3rd November 2017

Dorking Wanderers have today announced the arrival of Lewis Putnam from Beaconsfield Town.

27 year old winger/striker Putnam is experienced in non-league football, having played for various clubs including Slough Town, Met Police and (more recently) Beaconsfield Town. He’s also a prolific scorer, with over 160 career goals to his name.

Manager Marc White is delighted to add Putnam to his Wanderers squad. He said: “Lewis has played at this level of football from a very young age. We were really impressed with him when he played against us for Met Police, and we’re looking forward to integrating him into the squad”.

Putnam himself is looking forward to a new challenge at Dorking Wanderers, and commented: “I’m really excited to be joining Dorking. Marc has big ambitions for the club, and this was the main reason for my move. I was lucky enough to move to a new ground when I was at Slough and I know how exciting this is. I can’t wait to get started”.

Putnam goes straight into the Dorking Wanderers squad for Saturday’s away league fixture at Folkestone Invicta, 3pm kick off.
