Local lad Philpott returns home to become Dorking Wanderers third close season signing

Following the recent signings of Brannon O'Neill and Luke Moore, Dorking Wanderers have today confirmed that Isaac Philpott is the latest player to sign ahead of their debut season in the Isthmian Premier League.
22 year old centre half Philpott is a local lad who attended Ashcombe Secondary School in Dorking. He was a youth player for Dorking FC who went on to Sutton United and made appearances in the Conference South at only 18 years of age.
After Sutton United he joined Cardiff Met University and played for the first team in the Welsh Premier League.
Manager Marc White is delighted to have added Philpott to his step 3 side, and commented: "Isaac may only be 22 however after breaking into Sutton United's first team at 18, and then playing in the Welsh Premier League, he has experience that defies his age. Furthermore he has experience of playing in step 2 football, which makes him ideal in terms of the quality we're looking to add to our existing squad."
White continued: "It's fitting that Isaac is a Dorking lad who is returning 'home' for his next move in football, and I'm sure he will be proud to run out at the newly constructed Meadowbank Stadium in the heart of his home town".
